Remove car parking on bridge and widen footway, people stop to enjoy view but this creates blockages making distancing difficult, can't step out on to road because cars fly down at great speeds
Busy road that is very hard to cross. Social distancing on footpath is tricky as paths are narrow and pedestrians are "hemmed in" by parked cars and also the busy road with traffic in both directions. Making it one way would certainly help.
Widen pavements on Drummond Street and South College Street making it into an attractive pedestrian and cycle route between the Pleasance and Bristo Square - two key University nodes.

Shared rubbish bins block the already narrow pavement on Dalkeith Road. Existing bus lane could be used in whole or part to widen pavement
Very narrow bridge with shared pedestrian/cycle pavement - take space from road (that has hashing) for a segregated cycleway
Path is far too narrow and has barriers. Remove barriers and a traffic lane to allow pedestrians and cyclists access

Widen pavements on both sides to allow physical distancing. At least as far as the hospital entrance, and probably as far as Balcarres St.
Pavement too narrow. Remove/close for cars best choice or traffic calling measures. So near a primary school.
Narrow path forces people onto road to distance socially. Awkward as lots of cars parked along there usually
A very fast rat run which makes physical distancing unpleasant and dangerous. Wider pavements, or traffic calming measures needed.

Traffic island busy pedestrian crossing. Traffic from Morningside Road rat races through this junction morning and evening as students, school children, and parents try to cross.
Improve crossing safety. Add central island with additional traffic light, but maintain single crossing phase for pedestrians.
Footways too narrow and with barriers. This is also in front of a school. Social distancing is impossible here. Lose a lane of traffic and widen footways.
Junction very hazardous for pedestrians to cross. Traffic obstacle needed to make cars slow down and take note for people crossing.
Extremely narrow pavement. Wide enough for only one person. Lose a lane of traffic, widen the path and the cycle lane.
