While including a cycle track alongside this section of the tramway is commendable, planting the lighting columns within the width of the path is not.

The tramway cycle path shares a flyover with the actual tramway. If only this happened at the road crossings further west! It would have been even better if they'd not mounted the lighting columns within the width of the path.

The tramway goes over a flyover but the cycleway goes through an obstacle course at road crossing, to improve riders' skills presumably! UPDATE: See #56279 - now work has finished they've replaced the yellow bollard with a thinner black ... [more]
