Ferry Road is a very busy and wide road which encourages cars to drive too fast which makes cycling on this road stressful and dangerous. A permanent segragated cycle path should be erected to facilitate bike users and would give … [more]
Really impressed someone has managed to make this section of road more dangerous for cyclists. Didn't think that was possible #allhailthecar https://t.co/LSq0JouDEa
Too many parked cars block safe route for cycling and prevent buses getting through. A marked cycleway or double yellow lines on one side would improve visibility and safety.
2020.10 edspokesmap 12:70 Alternative path to EICA. This path was dug up to install a sewer pipe. It is now rough.
What a difference! #SpacesForPeople has made Comiston road an actual delight for people not in cars.
Please can Scotrail change their anti Tandem policies and allow them on the Inter7City trains which LNER did with exactly the same trains. Discriminates against disabled riders who have to ride with a partner.
Excellent practice at Civerino's Pizza in Edinburgh - the pop-up cycle lane is for cyclists, not drivers wanting to collect pizza.
The shared pavement and cycle way here is a joke. It gets really narrow by the bus stop where people are waiting and getting on and off buses. It's both dangourous for pedestrians and cyclists trying to filter through safely. It get's even … [more]
Rat running at speed is a huge and dangerous problem here. Not only this but drivers are consistently ignoring that it's a one way road.
Safe cycling route needed north-south to allow travel to/across town centre and join up existing cycleways.
Cycleway would add great value to the many cyclists who like to use this road . Cars drive very fast along this road. With a cycleway it would be an even better route for active travel through the city
Pavement is in disrepair and overgrown. It is very heavily used by walkers and cyclists but could be an even better outdoor space if the pavement was better kept and had space for all users
Pavement is very narrow. Not wide enough for families, wheelchair users or pushchairs. Pedestrians have to walk very close to cara
This on southbound A7. There to protect cycle lane to #ERI. Wands dumped inside entrance to park. @EdinPolSE @lmacinnessnp https://t.co/wpTD6YNrrV
Remove car parking on bridge and widen footway, people stop to enjoy view but this creates blockages making distancing difficult, can't step out on to road because cars fly down at great speeds
Zebra crossing needed here to facilitate movement between both parts of park and avoid bottlenecks of pedestrians on narrow pavements
Please lengthen the time for which cycle-friendly filter lights are illuminated. Mere seconds are given before green light for motorised vehicles.
Please make junction safer for cyclists - turning right from London Rd onto Queen's Dr puts a cyclist in a very vulnerable position.
The Advanced Stop Line at this location is in a completely inappropriate place. It needs to be relocated to the flat part of the road, and the pedestrian crossing realigned.
A filter here for emergency services and bus. So not used as rat run for vehicles improving air and noise quality
Refurbish existing cycleway. Resurface, widen, improve road markings and run it without interruption (reduce car lanes to accomodate cyclists, rather than vice versa)
Run cycleway across Orchard Rd junction to 'encourage' drivers not to creep into it as they head out onto Queensferry Rd, thus avoiding 'pushing' cyclists into main carriageway (where, it has to be said, considerate car drivers normally … [more]
Cobblestones might have worked for horses in the C18th, but they are lethal for cyclists sharing with heavy traffic in the C21st. Smooth cycle lane required.
Busy road that is very hard to cross. Social distancing on footpath is tricky as paths are narrow and pedestrians are "hemmed in" by parked cars and also the busy road with traffic in both directions. Making it one way would certainly help.
Blind spot for children trying to cross to go to school or between parks. Can wait up to 5 minutes to get over when busy (generally when driver stops to let past) zebra crossing would help
The speed limit into this new housing development is currently 30mph. It needs to be cut, and enforced.
This section of road needs to be be narrowed and the pavements on either side to be widened. The free, roadside, particularly commuter motor vehicle storage needs to be stopped.
The gap in the wall here, and the road is just not fit for purpose. This section of road needs to be narrowed, for the pavement to be widened and for a cyclist/pedestrian crossing to be constructed.
There needs to be a dropped kerb here to allow easy access to and from the shared bike path. Car parking here also needs to be stopped.
