The bike hangar location should be on the corner of Holmdene Avenue and Herne Hill. There is a widened area of pavement here or it could occupy one parking space on the corner, which is located behind a bollard which adds extra safety/protection (e.g. from cars). We would like a bike hangar that accommodates a minimum of 6 bikes. The reason is that a number of apartments in this area are having to store bikes in corridors and this breaks fire regulations, particularly post-Grenfell. We had a fire risk assessment done recently and this was highlighted as a high risk in communal corridors in the event of fire.
